Random Album Reviews

Wilco made a beautiful, folk inspired indie rock album with Sky Blue Sky. The lead singer and lyricist, Jeff Tweedy, has a talent to paint beautiful pictures in the form of poetry that become music with no less beautiful music accompaniment. Songs that remind you of what it's like when you realize something may not work out as you had hoped, such as "Impossible Germany" or songs that inspire hope like "Either Way" fill this album.

Indie diehards rejoice! New Moon is a 2 disc ensemble featuring B-sides from indie folk sweetheart Elliott Smith. His songs will soften the hardest of hearts while his melodies are simple and sweet, reaching deeply into emotion easily and eloquently. His soft voice bleeds with his lyrics, they are personal and relatable for practically every audience. RIP Elliott Smith.

  1. album where all musical or lyrical ideas contribute to a single overall theme or unified story. Absolutely amazing, we can not be more thankful for all the albums we have played for and all the people we have met throughout our whole journey of playing.
