War Child Presents: Heroes (An Album To Benefit Children Affected By War)

The library recently acquired a wonderful new benefit compilation album entitled  War Child Presents: Heroes(An Album To Benefit Children Affected By War).  The purpose of the album is to bring awareness to the enormous amount of children who in some way have been affected by the brutality of war. This CD is loaded with excellent musicians all providing covers of classic bands. Read on to learn more about the album.
66% Of all people killed by war are children.  War Child helps by providing support to the children marginalized by the effects of war in Darfur, Afghanistan, northern Uganda and other devastated conflict areas around the world. War Child works to ensure that children's rights are respected and never violated, to make it possible for children to go to school and empower them to build a secure and sustainable future.
